Our Story
We get asked all the time if NAPA Family Dental is a nod to California’s wine country, and while we love a good story, our name is even more personal! It's a special secret we're happy to share: NAPA is a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Antani’s parents, using their initials to honor the foundation they gave. It’s a warm reminder that when you're with us, you're not just a patient—you're part of our dental family.
Meet Our Doctor
Dr. K. Antani
Dr. Antani was inspired by his mother, who has been in the dental field for more than 20 years, and he knew at the age of 12 that dentistry was his calling.
After completing a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences and then a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Antani matriculated and graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed a one year hospital-based general practice residency. Winning the coveted New York Academy of Dentistry Ethics Award has been one of the highlights of his career.
Dr. Antani believes in patient-centric care; providing diagnosis, advice, and treatment based on what is best for our patients long term. The goal is to guide them into not just fixing teeth or gums, but to help them understand the mouth-body connection.
In New Mexico since 2015, Dr. Antani has worked in Roswell, Los Lunas, Rio Rancho, and in Albuquerque. Along with private citizens patients, Dr. Antani has also worked with Indian Health Services and the Veterans’ Administration by welcoming their patients into his practice.
In 2018, Dr. Antani provided free implants in Mexico and, as a result, won an award for Top 40 Under 40 from the Albuquerque Business Journal. From the same organization, NAPA Family Dental was awarded a Best Places to Work Award in 2022. In 2023, Group Dentistry Now and HR For Health awarded Dr. Antani’s organization received an award for “Emerging Groups to Watch” based on their philanthropy and commitment to the community.
In 2025, Albuquerque The Magazine took a poll of the local dental community and Dr. Antani was awarded Top General Dentist!
Dr. Antani is a fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists, a member of the New Mexico Dental Association where he mentors students and other dentists, a member of the American Dental Association, one of only a handful of American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine qualified dentists in New Mexico, and a member of the American Association of Sleep Medicine.
To Dr. Antani, continuing education is very important and a life-long endeavor.

Elise, Hygienist
I’ve been a practicing Dental Hygienist since 2014. I want people to leave my chair feeling more knowledgeable about their oral health, as well as listened to and cared for. I truly love my job and adore the dental team that Dr Antani has put together.
On a personal note, I am a proud New Mexican, it is where I grew-up, was educated, and have been raising my two young sons. I met my husband while we both attended the University of New Mexico and we now have two boys. I spend my free time watching my sons play sports, traveling, and staying in touch with friends and family.
Miriam, Dental Assistant
Miriam is from Los Angeles, California, but has been living in New Mexico since 2015. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute, Albuquerque campus, in 2020. Miriam has been a dental assistant since graduating, and has been loving every minute of it. She’s passionate about patient care and supporting a smooth, comfortable dental experience. Outside of work, Miriam loves spending time with family and friends, as well as exploring new spots around town.
Chantle, Dental Assistant
Chantle is a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant with 8 years of experience in the dental field. She is committed to providing exceptional patient care and helping create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.
Chantle graduated from Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) and is a DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Throughout her career, she has developed strong clinical and patient-care skills while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental visits and enjoys working alongside the dental team to provide
efficient, high-quality care. Chantle is passionate about dentistry and continually strives to grow her knowledge and skills while bringing a warm and caring approach to every patient she serves.
Verenice/ Vee, Office Manager
Vee brings more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, combining extensive industry knowledge with a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their dental care.
Throughout her career, Vee has gained experience in many aspects of dentistry, including dental office management, treatment coordination, patient relations, insurance, scheduling, team development, and practice operations. She especially enjoys helping patients understand their treatment options and finding ways to make their dental care fit their individual needs.
Vee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, giving her a strong foundation in business management, leadership, communication, and organizational strategy. She uses that education alongside her decades of dental experience to help create an efficient, welcoming environment for both patients and the dental team.
One of Vee’s favorite parts of dentistry is building relationships with patients. She believes that a dental office should be a place where people feel genuinely welcomed and cared for—not simply another appointment on the calendar.
Outside of the office, Vee is a proud mom of three daughters and loves spending time with her family. She was born and raised in Colorado and has always had a love for the outdoors. She enjoys traveling, horses, outdoor adventures, and discovering new places. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows her to connect with and assist even more patients and families.
Vee brings energy, dedication, and heart to everything she does and is proud to have spent more than two decades helping patients and dental practices thrive.
Raylene, Business Team
Raylene has proudly worked in the dental field for the past six years, with extensive experience in the front office. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment and providing every patient with the best possible
experience from the moment they walk through the door. Born and raised in New Mexico, Raylene is proud to serve the community she calls home. She has been happily married for 14 years and is the proud mom of two beautiful daughters, one wonderful stepdaughter, and an amazing son. She recently welcomed one of life’s greatest blessings—becoming a grandma to precious twin baby girls.
Outside of work, Raylene enjoys baking, crafting, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She loves experiencing new places, meeting new people, and embracing all that life has to offer.
